Well...that happened. So, our "heroes" finally come face to face with Team Cersei. And it's even close as it turns into a squash match. A ending that Tyrion knows is coming that he does everything in his power to save lives including Jamie and Cersei yet ultimately falls.
He could not save Varys when he tries to out him to Danny in order to save him. It does not work as Danny's Wrath is great. Honestly, Danny's Wrath should be the name of the episode as she and her dragon decimate the Iron fleet and the Golden Army as Jon leads the others into King's Landing to face the Lannister army.
While this is going on the Hound, Arya and Jamie sneak in to find Cersei well the Hound is here for Darth Mountain. Tyrion tells Danny if she hears the bells that means the Lannister army has surrendered. Well the bells ring after Danny and Jon have them surrounded. Yet, the Targian coin flips crazy in that moment and Danny goes ape shit on everything. Grey Worm joins the slaughter as does their army minus Jon and Davos. It is a massacre Old Testament style.
During this we get our major deaths. Euron faces off against Jamie. Jamie kills him, but Euron does damage that he dies thinking he killed Jamie. Nope that kill goes to Danny as she buries both of them in the well of Dragons when she brings the Keep down them. The Hound tells Arya to leave as all hell is breaking loose. Then we finally get Cleagene Bowl after Darth Mountain strangles Querion after he tells to defend Cersei. Cleagene Bowl is awesome as the Mountain goes straight 80s Hogan and no sells everything til the Hound throws both of them off the top of the Keep into the fire below.
Arya has to mad dash through the city as Danny burns innocent people and wrecks the place. Arya is saved by this mother and child, but can't return the favor as Danny burns them. Arya finds a white horse and off she rides to bring Death to Danny.
Next week should be a fun game of can anyone kill Danny who still has her Dragon and a good chunk of her army. I'm thinking that in typical GOT fashion Danny wins, but she is alone and is almost as bad as Cersei. Almost.
