No way Robert knew...for one, he didn't pay enough attention to notice anything going on with her, too much drinking and whoring to do. And two, if he had found her head would have been on a spike.
Exactly. Ned knew Robert better than anyone, which is why he warned Cersei to get her children out of town before he told the king the truth. Ned knew those kids would be slaughtered right along with her, just like the Targaryen kids were during the rebellion, and just like how Robert still wanted Dany killed.
Still loving this show. So many amazing actors in this, the casting has been close to perfect. | CxMorgado

For tv show purposes, it seems that the role of Reek is being fulfilled by Dagmar Cleftjaw (Finchy from the UK Office). I stress REEK cuz anything more would be nonsensical.
The Qarth Coup was creepier than the Shadow Baby. And way cooler than anything that happened in or regarding Qarth in the books outside of the House of the Undying. Great move there if you ask me.

Spoiler Below: Highlight text to read
| There is no way the whole Reek/Ramsay/Theon Torture Porn storyline happens. It's weird, complicated, adds nothing to any main storyline or character, and they would have to write out Theon for three seasons anyway. Ramsay takes Winterfell in the last show of the season, Theon gets his (probably he gets flayed alive by Ramsay), that's a wrap. |
Spoiler Below: Highlight text to read
| Given how important Ramsay is down the line (not to mention the character arc it provides for Theon, who is a character Benioff and Weiss really like), I'm not so sure. They've already seemingly cut the complicated part of the Reek angle, which allows it to be simplified down to "Theon is tortured and brainwashed into slavery". They found a way to work Jaime in this season rather than sit him out after all, so it stands to reason they'll simply add new scenes to show now rather than tell later. Plus it's not as long an absence as it seems, given that Crows and Dragons happen at the same time. |

Why hasn't anyone in the city sent word to Westeros that there is dragons? Seems like something like that would be hard to keep quiet. Maybe they'll get word before season two is over, but with ravens being just as good as cell phones for sending messages I would have expected Westeros to be talking about it by now. | wmatistic

Hasn't someone in Westeros made passing reference to it on the show? Like they've heard the rumors but don't really buy them ? Seems like that's happened, but I can't recall who. | John Orquiola

Plus there is an ongoing war with a bunch of Kings raging all across Westeros so the common people have their own problems. Last season, Jorah Mormont was the chief spy sending word to Westeros (to Varys) about Daenerys' movements, but he stopped doing that when Robert Baratheon sent assassins to kill her. Word has reached Westeros about the dragons already; Tywin Lannister, Varys, Littlefinger, Tyrion, Cercei, and likely Robb Stark and Stannis have heard word of dragons in some form, but again there's a WAR going on so rumors of magical creatures from half a world away are a low priority.
