Ok, I may be alone here, but I thought the premise for this episode was really clever. Take Leonardo Da Vinci and make him an alien, where he's the stupidest guy on the planet...which still makes him more brilliant than anyone on Earth.
The episode had a lot of funny moments, especially Bender getting his arm ripped off and Fry's "nail nails in a nail" idea from the start of the episode coming all the way back to bite him in the end. If I had a problem with this episode, it was that they REALLY seemed to turn up Fry's stupidity to 11, but it's a little more palatable when considering that Fry's dumbness was a pivotal plot point.
It's another winner. The movies were mired in mediocrity, but the new 30-minute episodes have all been great so far.
MD: You have to win, no matter what. SC: Why didn't you try that this year?
Sing this special song. It's just for you. "My Doctorate is in Art History" was the highlight, though Leela not rejecting Fry and Bender getting his arm ripped off (by trying the same trick from the pilot) were a close second.
Also, the last three movies were mired in mediocrity. Bender's Big Score was awesome.

While waiting for new episodes, I recommend renting the British version of The Office. It's fun to see the inspiration for the version we all know and love. Most amazing to me is the similarities between Jim/John Krasinski and Tim/Martin Freeman.
