I've been waiting to use that subject ever since I heard he got the nod.
Anyway, the only other time I had ever heard of Bill Frist was during the debate over stem cell research. A lot of Senators went to him for advice, because he was a doctor. Other than that, I don't know much about him, other than he's from Tennessee, has some parts of his voting record which are similar to Lott's in regards to affirmative action and such, and everyone loves him, compared to Lott. So what else is there to know about him?
Wait, I thought reaching across the aisle was in vogue in Washington. Partisan politics taking a backseat to resolving the issues. Wasn't it a notion discussed by both candidates earlier in the election?
