Zims, we have a small problem. I attempted to paste a rather long HTML link into a post earlier, and the board construed some of the punctuation in the URL as a smiley and slapped the IMG tag right in the middle of my link. Would it be possible to have the code ignore the stuff in between the < >'s?

I'd suggest enclosing them in [link] and [/link] tags on the rare occasions that happens.

(If I find your link later, I'll do a workaround using ampersand codes, though)

That's ok, I fixed it myself. does the <a href= tag allow me to make my own words up for the link? If it just uses the URl, then that won't work too good, because the one in particular I was using was 3 or 4 lines long.

When you:

[a href=http://www.slashwrestling/]

You can add your own tag by adding something like:

CRZ's Site[/a]

Changing the [ s to < s of course.

It comes out...

Well, when I typed that message, I didn't put that a href= thing in. I was referring to the [ link ] wienercode, but the thing hiccuped.

Actually, in defense of the code, it did what it was supposed to do. [link ] IS supposed to be substitued with the <A href= that appeared.

So, to answer your question now that I understand it [link ] just uses Click Here because it was a huge pain to try to make it let you enter the name of the link (and would have required a third code - which blew the ease of using [link ] and [/link ]

I don't believe we get credit on gift certs purchased, but we would on purchases made using them. The problem is that if they paid us cash on the cert we could get double commission.
