I had one piece (the free one) from KFC on the day of the promo. I found it to be juicy and it had a good flavor. I would eat it again, but only after I was sick of Fried Chicken. Sadly, there is no KFC near us, so I will probably never get to that point.
I'm in Baton Rouge for work this week and there was a story on the local news last night about the absolute CRUSH of people descending on local KFC's with the coupon . . . followed by the requisite complaining about long lines and then finding out that the coupon was only redeemable *inside* the restaurant and not in the drive-thru. High comedy.
We tried it at a local (Louisville, KY) KFC last week and I enjoyed it. It's a lot like the rotisserie chicken they had back in the mid to late 90's and is a very welcome addition to the menu for my tastes.

I pass about 12 different gas stations on my way to work. The range for regular unleaded was between $2.53 and $2.99, though the average was about $2.65. I'm guessing that the 2 stations that were at the low end hadn't changed their signs yet.
