This is pretty cool for those of you that haven't gotten to see any NWA-TNA.
(Nashville, TN) TNA Wrestling, airing every Wednesday night on Pay-Per-View, is proud to announce a monthly free "Best Of" series to begin on the nwatna.com TNA On Demand service.
Starting March 1 and continuing each month, any fan with a broadband internet connection (DSL, Cable, etc) who visits nwatna.com can preview the TNA On Demand service FREE with an exclusive "Best Of" series, beginning with former NWA World Heavyweight Champion, The Phenomenal One AJ Styles.
Throughout March, fans can view - entirely free - some of AJ Styles' most acclaimed matches. Watch as AJ Styles teams with D'Lo Brown to take on the Triple X team of Primetime, Low Ki and The Fallen Angel, the night Styles won the NWA World Heavyweight Title against Jeff Jarrett and Raven, as well as a TNA "Match of the Year" candidate - AJ Styles vs. Low Ki for the NWA World Heavyweight Title!
"Today 68 percent of U.S. homes have internet access compared to only 65 percent with cable TV," said Warren Davis, who manages the TNA On Demand service. We're going to get so much ass here... like boy band ass.
I have seen one of the TNA free shows on the Comcast On-Demand channel. I believe it was "highlights" of the America's Cup or X-Cup or whatever it was called. It was cool to see Teddy Hart wrestle for the first time, and good to see Juvy again. This offer sounds good as well.
Damn you WWE for making me change my sig. I'm sure you have good enough reasons to get rid of Shannon, but that doesn't mean I have to like it. Let me thus be the first to say: BRING BACK DAFFNEY!
TNA's been doing these for a while now on Comcast On Demand cable. I was able to see the Ultimate X match (nice idea, poor execution), America's Most Wanted winning the tag title in a cage and highlights from the semis and finals of the Super X Cup tournament. I must say I was disappointed that the entire matches weren't on for the Super X-Cup, as highlights of things I haven't seen don't really capture me as much as a full match.
All in all, it's a VERY good way to hype TNA, as was the virtually free show on September 11th. WWE should do something like this as well.
That Daniel Bryan business makes no sense. Why would you wait until now when you could have done it at the PPV when he was conscious with a horribly injured ankle? It seems like a case of an Idiot Plot to me.
