"America may have some problems, but it's our home. Our team. And if you don't wanna root for your team...then you should get the hell out of the stadium. Go America." --Stan Marsh, South Park
Leave it to the Chairman to no-sell Death. Granted, I'm killing time waiting for the fall releases of Ol' Blue Eyes's 1965 St. Louis concert w/ Dean and Sammy on DVD, and the DVD-Audio 5.1 re-release of "Sinatra at the Sands," but man oh man... Frank Sinatra to Perform, His Way, at Radio City Music Hall (Salt Lake Tribune) OK, it was odd enough when he showed up in those oh-so-swank ads for the "NBA Playoffs: Love it Live" gimmick. But this is just...creepy. And the sad thing is...if I lived in NYC, I'd go. Jiminy Christmas. Star wipe, and...we're out. Thrillin' ain't easy. . . I can't decide if this is really, really cool or really, really wrong. I'm curious from a technological standpoint, though. If this is successful, look for Vegas to incorporate shows like this at all the major hotel venues. I'd definitely go see one of these based on the entire Rat Pack.
Those are CDs (or, very rarely, MiniDiscs). So ones WITHOUT that star are records (or, very rarely, tapes).
