I'm surprised I didn't notice this (cnn.com) today. I didn't realize it until my roommate commented on it when he saw Gorshin in Tarantino's CSI season finale (and that's another story for another thread).

RIP Riddler

*AND* he completely steals his scene in the aforementioned CSI.

Rest In Peace, Frank Gorshin. You entertained.

I still remember him as the Riddler and as a kid loved it. He really was petty talented as a comic/impersonator.

If you read BACK TO THE BATCAVE from Adam West, you'll find out that he was very much loved by the original Bat himself.

I always found him to be hilarious...even better than the Jim Carrey "Riddler" in the movies.

Rest in peace, Frank!

The theatre I saw this at was (un)fortunate enough to get the Rock movie (I've already forgotten the name, thankfully), Daddy Day Camp, the Alvin and the Chipmunks mess, and Horton. I'm not sure which one of those trailers depressed me more.
