Regime change . . . a la carte

Intersting article from the DC Times mentioning the number of instances where Frrance supported a regime change in its former colonies when it served their interests.

The story about the rise of Dacko in 58 minutes just cracks me up though.

This was one of those bolt-upright-in-bed "holy sh*t" moments. Employer's affiliation aside, I too grew up watching Peter on "World News Tonight"...maybe that's how I decided to get into the TV news biz.
