The biggest item, to me, is that House stays on Tuesdays as opposed to leading in 24 on Mondays. 24 will have both Skating With Celebrities and Prison Break (when it returns) as lead-ins over the course of the Spring. This bothers me a little bit for a couple reasons...

1) Prison Break and 24 back-to-back is cool as hell and is surely favorable from a demos perspective, but we're gonna have conspiracy-theory-serial-drama overload. Though I'm a reasonably intelligent guy and have decent attention span, I worry that I'll be mixing up the players and stories.

2) House, I thought, was a perfect lead-in, ratings-wise. 24 found its biggest audience ever last season and needs to keep it. Is 24 a big enough player now (on its own) that it attracts everybody? If it isn't, House (as FOX's biggest scripted ratings winner) gives them a bigger audience than Prison Break. (I know American Idol was lead-in for the first two seasons of 24, but 24 wasn't nearly as big then).

And the rest of the 13 episodes of Arrested Development go...where? Or are they burning them off in December? I can't remember.

I'm glad they're not moving House. I like it right where it is. Following American Idol will insure at least another season.

And just when I start warming up to Bones, they move it to Wednesday at nine, where my DVR is already straining from the weight of Veronica Mars and Lost. Don't make me break out my VCR, FOX. That's just cold.

We're only promised Arresteds in December. They could double them up in lieu of burning off the Kitchen Confidentials. Or they could air them through January until the big premiere of SKATING WITH MOTHERFUCKING CELEBRITIES. Or they could be left for the "w/ special unaired episodes!" teaser on the season 3 DVD.

I was hoping for House to move to break its logjam with The Office, TV's fourth and third best shows going head-to-head.

Hey, there's still 4 days left until the first of those eps. A lot can happen between now and then. :-)

edit: that would be 4 days, not 3

Bones is becoming one of my guilty pleasures. I love the morbid jokes, and the magical chinese place where the owner always brings you just what you want without having to order (I need that place in real life). They are stretching with the 3d image projection technology, but the characters are messed up and likeable. It's a dysfunctional CSI/X-files comedic drama. I loves me some dysfunction, and since it is anthropological dysfunction I can pretend I'm studying for school (not that it is doing me much good since I only have cultural classes right now).

So...starting in January, That 70's Show goes off the air, and then it comes back in MARCH?! Damn.

This will get added at the end of each post you make, below an horizontal line. This should preferably be kept to a small enough size.

They probably figure with House's ratings doing so well on their own at this point, why risk shuffling it around to try to help other shows and hurt it. I'm glad they're staying pat with that, and with the combo of Idol and House, they should just about win Tuesdays.

I am still pissed that they cancelled "Reunion". Now I will never know who pulled the trigger.

Big Show: Why is he getting the Intercontinental Title shot and not me?
RVD: Ahhh...maybe 'cause you're a tool.
Big Show: Look. I am 7'2". I am 500 pounds. I'm a giant.
RVD: Oh ok. You're a giant tool.

Seems "The War at Home" was picked up for a full season last I read. I haven't read about it getting canned yet.

Man, I can't believe that Arrested and Kitchen Confidential get killed, but War at Home, bar none the worst new show I've seen this season, gets to stick around. As far as finding out who the Reunion killer is, I think I heard that the show was based on a series of books, so you could look into that.

That would mean I would have to read a book that wasn't written by a pro wrestler.

Wait...did Mick Foley write the books?

Last I saw the Arrested Development order was cut from 22 episodes to 13, making it seven episodes to go and according to my math, it would end Jan. 23, so they would have to double up one time or save it for spring. Maybe they'll have Celebrity Hoes featuring Lindsay Lohan, Paris Hilton and Nicole Richie working in their gardens. The "celebrities" on ice are Dave Coullier, Bruce Jenner, Todd Bridges, Kristy Swanson, Deborah Gibson and Jillian Barberie. Nancy Kerrigan is one of the teachers, too bad Tonya Harding didn't sign on.
Hopefully HBO will pick up AD and they won't have to pixelate Buster's stub.

I am so there for "Celebrity Hoes".

And Coullier has to have an edge since he might be the only one who can actually skate.

I dunno, this episode seemed DENSE with comedy. The parade of stereotypes during the fight training kicked it into high gear and the Autotuned disaster survivor sealed the deal.
