I am sure when the phone rang and the guy said "Hi I'm Joe Blow from WWE" he passed out from excitement.

Good for him, they were talking about this on the radio today. Class thing to do on his part.

That seems to be the case more and more each month. And they only have themselves to blame for that. WCW had this very same problem... pushing ex-WWF wrestlers and not pushing or developing their own home-grown talent ('till it was too late, anyway)....
