Porter led police on a high-speed chase, which ended in a crash, after reportedly stabbing Bianca McGaughey at approximately 8:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Porter wrestled in WWE's developmental system for about two years, until he was released last August.

Hello PB, this is Eric Loy over in the Danville area. When "Future" was here for the NBWA and was Heritage champ I had a chance to call a few of his matches and meet him. Seemed like a decent enough guy. Fun to call one of his matches at the time. His match with Guy Smith in Rantoul was fun.
Local wrestlers are stunned for sure. Some talk that he was really having trouble with not making the WWE.
That's the impression I've gotten as well. He got hurt right after starting with FCW and spent most of his contracted time on the shelf, only to get cut loose right when he was ready to return. He was good in the ring for a guy his size...too bad.
All it means is he was dumb enough to get caught. Chavo and Regal got wellness suspensions too. And then there was Benoit. I think it's become pretty apparent that you can't expect people to learn from the mistakes of others.
