I browse the forum at work and recently cleared the cookies and as a result ended up being logged out. Now for the life of me I can't remember my password to log back in at work, I'm still logged in at home. I can see the length of the password when I go to edit my profile. I thought I might be able to "lift" the dots that represent the password and use an unmask tool to recover my password, but it appears the ability to copy that field has been disabled. Is there any other way to retrieve my password? I don't want to be a chicken at work....I want to be a Wiener! StableWars.com - You'll never watch wrestling the same way again. Promote this thread!

I did the same thing last year, before I started posting. And shame on the Admins for not encrypting the cookies!! (I am only kidding) Of course Guru or CRZ might have PM'd it to you, and I'm too late. :) Don't fear the Reaper.

I'm not going to link the site here, but if you search Google for "revelation+snadboy" you'll come to a site that has a utility called Revelation v.2. It comes in very handy at times like this. lazzz "Dawn comes soon enough for the working class". "Don't look at me, I'm not your kind...I'm Rael"! VYARZERZOMANIMORORSEZASSEZANSERAREORSEZ?

AIM: # 5 Posted on 10.5.03 0111.58 Interesting utility. It only seems to work on IE though - Mozilla is immune to the trick. Still, if the cookie wasn't in plain text, it might be a cool way to get the password. Willful ignorance of science is not commendable. Refusing to learn the difference between a credible source and a shill is criminally stupid.

It's a fun little utility. By no means is it perfect. It does work with both Navigator as well as IE. Never tried it with Mozilla. It definitely can help though with lost/forgotten passwords. lazzz "Dawn comes soon enough for the working class". "Don't look at me, I'm not your kind...I'm Rael"! It's showing Eastern time for me, so I just assumed that the clock was actually set to your own timezone settings. -Jag
