I'd love to be able to bring her at least a few slices of authentic stuff. So my question is whether anyone can give me advice about how to make it survive in my luggage. Is it doable? If so, how? Should I freeze it first? Does it matter what toppings I get, or how it's sliced? Any advice would be appreciated. | Promote this thread! | | Zeruel

The flight will be what, 15-20 hours? The cargo area isn't heated, so it would stay frozen. The bigger issue is if they will let you bring it into the country.

Meat/fruit/veg/poultry is restricted.
If you do take some, make sure you declare it and be prepared to throw it away if they say no. |
