Sad news as the F@H app on the PS3 will be taken down with the next firmware update. On a selfish note, I was looking forward to finally making the pie chart on the-w stats page.

Hm. You know, I almost forgot I was still doing this.

Sheesh - you're about to overtake me.

Time to get my systems folding again!

Luckily, it's getting colder and I need the space heaters.

If you don't, you can not take your PS3 online. Either way, you can't use F@H anymore because it can not find a new unit to fold.

Sony really seems to be doing everything they can to ensure that I never again purchase a PS console.

F@H is still working on my PS3, as of this morning.

I'd like to know why Sony's pulling the plug on the app.

Basically they work through compression. The earlier forms were basically just compressing HTML (which many websites do anyway), but now some of the more advanced services also compress images by reducing the quality further.
