From Central Illinois, we were getting stereo-quality signals form 18 Florida-area and one Mississippi FM station this morning, also channels 5 and 6 from Florida on a cheapie B&W 5-inch TV...

Hope that foretells a good skip summer, the last few have been not good in this area.

Yeah, we had that down in Central Texas yesterday, I was listening to a station, and started getting a Hits station from Jacksonville. But after a while, it started to piss me off, since I couldn't listen to my local stations without them bleeding out, and in my work truck, we don't have a CD player or even a cassette deck, so I was fucked. It's been happening a while, we've been getting a station from College Station (home of Texas A&M) which is about 3-4 hours south of here in places.

I found a link to this video on another forum, and it's one of the funniest videos I've seen in a long time. They takes James Earl Jones lines from other movies of his and dub them over Darth Vader scenes from Star Wars. http://www.akjak.
