From Central Illinois, we were getting stereo-quality signals form 18 Florida-area and one Mississippi FM station this morning, also channels 5 and 6 from Florida on a cheapie B&W 5-inch TV...

Hope that foretells a good skip summer, the last few have been not good in this area.

Yeah, we had that down in Central Texas yesterday, I was listening to a station, and started getting a Hits station from Jacksonville. But after a while, it started to piss me off, since I couldn't listen to my local stations without them bleeding out, and in my work truck, we don't have a CD player or even a cassette deck, so I was fucked. It's been happening a while, we've been getting a station from College Station (home of Texas A&M) which is about 3-4 hours south of here in places.

OK - I tried it - but what do you do when two barrels roll over you and push you into the ground, so that your legs are hanging out into the tunnel and the top of your head is flush with the earth? It's happened twice so far.
