Did anyone see Kevin Smith's "Flying Car" short film on the Tonight Show the other night? Yeah, I didn't either. I did, however, watch the MPEG of it, available from News Askew. Very funny. The roles of Dante and Randal are reprised, and maaaaaan....Brian O'Halloran is just getting progressively fatter and fatter from movie to movie. They've been hiding it better since Amy, but still.
Also, I picked up the Jay & Silent Bob Strike Back 2-disc special edition today. I should've gotten Clerks: Uncensored instead. (Yeah, I don't have it yet. I've watched it like 10 times though.)
I liked it, but saw the ending coming a mile away. Still, anything that has the Randall character in it rules by proxy.
I also bought J&SBSB as well as Drawing Flies (another View Askew film) but won't have time to watch either until the weekend. Now I'm just "A Better Place" short of having all the VA related films on DVD.
I got.... Clerks, Mallrats, Chasing Amy, Dogma, Jay & Silent Bob Strike Back, A Better Place & Clerks Uncensored. All I need is Drawing Flies and Tail Lights Fade to complete the entire magulla...until Vulgar and Now You Know come out on DVD.
Holden: Judging by the buzz, that movie's gonna make some serious bank. Jay: What buzz? Holden: The internet buzz. Jay: What the f*ck is the internet? [Holden (Ben Affleck) & Jay (Jason Mewes) in Jay & Silent Bob Strike Back]
Excellent overview, AJ_Levy! And I learned something new, too! I thought/assumed (silly me) that linux was basically another BSD-derivitave-offshoot, rather than a "from scratch" follower. I'm loving the BSD vs Linux (over-yonder.net)
