as a slightly biased caps fan, it would seem to make more sense to spotlight the 2 time regining MVP this year and have flyers/rangers (heated rivals) next year.

What an incredible match of managerial chess John Muckler and Pat Quinn are engaged in. Quinn lands Owen Nolan, and the Senators respond with..... Rob Ray? Maybe it isn't so much "incredible" as it is one-sided. PS:
