The key is having John Welbourn back in the lineup at left guard. Last night there were a good amount of runs to the left side with Thomas and Welbourn just dominating the Giants Dline.
That said, you have to give Reid a lot of credit. He may be an egotistical, pass-first coach but when his assistants see something to exploit on film that involves the run he will listen to them. 2 weeks in a row they have run the ball with success and this will force defensive coordinators to adjust their gameplans.
