CRZ, you're only supposed to use that laptop to send prank posts to the past!
Lawl, my user rating keeps going down. I would vote myself even lower if I could; see if I could get a negative rating.

Let's see...
I haven't seen "Cars" yet, but Mrs. JJD took IJ with one of her little buddies and now we have it on DVD but I fell asleep while we tried to watch it last night.
I LOVED "Over the Hedge", and we have that on DVD but IJ to going through a SERIOUS Spiderman-phase, so I don't even think we watched that. "Over the Hedge" was DEFINITELY my favorite kids' movie of the year.
We saw "Ice Age: the Meltdown" and that was decent but there were a couple of parts that I surprised at how intense they were considering it was a kids' movie.
We skipped "Open Season" and "The Wild", the latter because it looked just like "Madagascar".
(looking at boxofficemojo.com to see if I forgot any)
She love, love, LOVES Captain Jack Sparrow, so we took her to Pirates 2, which of course she loved.
We skipped "Monster House" but Mrs. JJD and IJ watched it on rental, I think.
I took IJ to see "Curious George" but she threw up in the middle of it. (Yay, parenthood!)
Mrs. JJD took IJ to see "Barnyard" one week when they were on vacation.
I think that about covers it, and it looks like "The Ant Bully" and "Garfield" came and went without us even noticing. IJ really wants to see "The Santa Clause 3", but it HAS to be closer to Christmas for THAT.
(Oh, and me and Mrs. JJD FINALLY went and saw "The Departed" last weekend, sans IJ. Awesome.)

Well, since my first daughter (2 1/2 years old) has been collecting the toys from McD's Happy Meals, we thought this might be a decent shot for her first theater experience. I was kind of banking on IJ's review (courtesy of JJD), and I was glad I did. She loved the movie, and loved seeing "My mousies!" on the screen.
Personally, I enjoyed Whitey, the frogs, and the slugs. "EEEEEEEeeeeee!"
The Happy Footed Penguins won and it was pretty darn good, too.
We got the soundtrack before we saw the movie and it's an eclectic mix from Prince to the Beach Boys. Very nice.
Robin Williams is a treat, but the story is more complex that I thought it would be. Good for the adults, too.
We went on Sunday afternoon with about 100 people in the theater. Only two other guys in the room besides me. Is there anything on TV on Sunday afternoons??

According to IMDb.com, it was good but not good enough. And "the failure of the film to generate a profit would likely result in the end of the relationship between DreamWorks Animation and Aardman Animations"
Thanks for posting this. I am stuck in Houston and all I know is that Jep comes on early - probably 3:30 or 4:00 pm and I had to work. Nice work - really happy for you, Teapot!
