Read it and weap, fella

I always liked Flip. And between you and me, I was rooting for him to take the Lakers coaching job after Phil "left" in 2004.

Damn, here's another reason Mike D'Antoni will regret taking the Knicks job. He would have fit like a glove in Detroit.

Avery Johnson's phone just rang...

I'm not a big Flip fan. There is a lot worse still out there, but that's a team that pretty much runs itself.

It also might be time to break up some of that team. I keep Chauncy and Rip maybe even Prince, but it might be time for Rasheed to move on.

It's official-- former Pistons player and assistant coach Michael Curry, who was also formerly the head of the player's association if I remember correctly, has been named the next head coach of the Pistons.

"It, uh... it was not supposed to be a fight to the death."
"Trust me, they're better off now."
"Yeah, you're probably right."

I have officially gone Linsane. This has been one of the most entertaining week's of basketball that I can remember. He of course is following one of the most boring month and a half of basketball I can remember.
