I agree with you on the music. I thought it fit in very well all series, but especially in the climax. I'd have one of the songs stuck in my head for at least a couple hours after watching the tape.
Overall a very good series that seemed to come together, and be easier to understand after watching episode six.

| Yeah Keeper, I was thinking the same thing after I posted. He's got a good case of Tenchi-itus don't he? There isn't a female in the series who doesn't want him. |
By the way, the name of the song that plays during the climax of the fights appears to be Little Busters. You're all welcome.

Anyway, I like how all the kids are in their school uniforms at the end, showing how they're all growing up and moving on with their lives. Such blissful melancholy!

I knew the name of that song, but that was after the climax (in episode six) was completed. Do you know what the name of the song that was playing during the climax? It went something like (in english) "I think I count", and I can't seem to find the name of it. I am sure it was still the Pillows, because it sounded pretty much the same.
I know the ending credits are "Ride on a Shooting Star", but that is not the same song either.

So the eyebrows are like a lock to keep the portals inside their heads closed...
What is Kanti and Naotoa's relation to the pirate king? Are each of them part of him?
And why does his brother's girlfriend's "overflowing" trigger the opening of the portal?
I'm interested in hearing your ideas. |

| #28 Posted on 23.8.03 2153.50 | Angry Johnny,
I don't think the eyebrows really do anything other than be fake eyebrows.
I think TV Boy/the robot is a summoning-device that can be used to channel the pirate's essence. Naota is involved just 'cuz his head is useful for teleporting stuff (Haruka regularly says "only your head works").
The "overflowing" does nothing - it just dramatically happened at the same time as the portal opened in Naota's head.
The REAL question is: what was the one edit that Cartoon Network made in Episode 6? I've, personally, been too lazy to do a side-by-side comparisson.

They also had an earlier edit which "Adult Swim" didn't mention. A "shit" was edited out of episode two.
