There are three ways I can see this going...

1) Flair refuses to sell - Vince brings in the nWo.

2) Flair sells - Vince brings in the nWo anyway to "surgically remove the cancer" (that is to say, Flair and his supporters).

3) Flair sells - Vince doesn't bring in the nWo - the nWo invades on their own volition.

One way or another, the nWo is coming. Personally, I'd hate to see the "partnership" angle dissolve this quickly - but given the content of the Flair/Vince promo on RAW, I'd have to say that Option #2 seems the most likely.

I go for door number 1.
We'll get to see an awesome Flair promo where he states this is the #1 company and he won't let it go down WOOOH! We have beaten the nWo once before and we can do it again! WOOOOH!
(in my dreams this involves returning the Horsemen..if the nwo can be in the wwf why cant the IV Horsemen be?)

I liked how everyone kept talking about how the nWo killed WCW, not in a good way, but in a way pretty much implying how much the angle sucked (at the end, anyway).

First Faarrooqq and Bradshaw got a chance to be the voice of the entire WWF lockerroom and vent to Flair about how egotistical and selfish the nWo are, then JR and Lawler got a few of those "Those guys always put themselves before the company" shots in on them too.

Then Vince chimed in going on and on about how much viewership their arrival will drive away and how many fans they'll turn off.

Funny stuff.

Yeah, what this does right now is 3 things:
1- for those that dont know the nWo (only know Hogan, maybe Nas & Hall) they will be like 'wow, these guys are bad? Let's tune in!'

2 - For the self-proclaimed smarks like most of us, we'll watch because we see what exactly the angle will be and when will they get their asses kicked

3- While drawing out the nWo arrival suspense they can build on some other angles and get people hooked on those.

OR Flair screws Vince and buys out the nWo and keeps his shares. Please don't let this be so. We don't need any stupid double turns for the next few months.

i'd say option number 1 or option number 2 are probable.... but most likely flair wont sell.... it'll be great to see the promo of him explaining why....

If Flair doesn't sell, does that make him a heel? Because I guess that would mean he doesn't care about the company. And why should he sell Vince his shares at the price he bought them at? I don't know what WWFE stock is elling at right now, or what it was back in July, but I think that was an unfair stip. I hope they don't get rid of the partenership angle so quickly.

WWFE stock has pretty much sucked since the XFL was first announced, and even before that. It's around $14 a share.

I don't think Flair not selling the stock would make him a heel though. He's simply not allowing Vince to blackmail him.

No matter how bad things may get, just imagine what would happen if Vince Russo was booking again, and you will feel better.

Flair needs to cut a promo that says, "I'm not going to let you drive me out of this, the greatest Sporst Entertainment company in the world, without even giving me one good reason! I won't give in to your blackmail and I won't let the nWo ruin this company!" Then he needs to either bring back the Horsemen, or get some other superstars to back him up and kick the nWo's ass. Or something.

Damn, it's almost 3pm, and I still haven't gone to work? Yeesh.

It's possible the whole question about Flair selling or not selling his 50% is not only helping bring in the nWo but ALSO setting up the oft-delayed Split.

What do you think?

P.S. IMO, I don't think he will sell.

that's true... him not selling could lead up to the nWo and when the nWo fails to destroy the federation then Vince could split the company... hmmmmmmmmmmm...........

What I am personally looking for, in terms of what is going to happen with the nWo and the split (if it ever happens) is for Flair to refuse to sell, not bring back anything like the 4 Horsemen, for the APA to try to lead a midcarder revolution, and nothing to happen until the nWo threatens a main eventer.. then said main eventer squashes them, because Vince doesn't want to let the old guys crack the glass ceiling either!

Or maybe I'm just being sarcastic.

Sarcasm, like, totally rules! Anybody who doesn't think so is a TOTAL REEKAZOID!

And after hearing me talk about Edge n' Christian so much, when she finally watched her first RAW with me she asked the immortal question... "Which one's Edgen?"

Affirmative. This makes sense, and the WWF writers can at least think that far ahead...

She totally reeks of heinosity! Christian is obviously the brother with all the talent, while that no good Edge followed his coattails to Tag Team glory as they nearly became the octopusses of the WWF Tag Team ranks.. Christian totally reeks of awesomeness!

Yeah, well, the sad part was she thought it was just one guy named Edgen Christian. Wrestling trying to combine with the other parts of my life just make for some very hilarious moments.
