I thought she gave Flair 4 days to make up his mind which side he was on last Thurs. on SmackDown.

The WWF really stunk it up Tonight

Hmmm, Stephanie promo or Spike and Tazz winning the Tag Titles. Which one would I rather have seen?

They didn't want to confuse fans on whether or not they should cheer HHH, I guess.

They figured that the handful of fans still watching after that stinker of a Raw had no sense of continuity anyways...

i'm with Fazzel...i think they wanted to play and draw out the "Which side is he ON!?" card...but with angle dogging him all night, there was no question.

Anyway...it was his night and she can screech her heart out on network TV on thrusday.

Yes, it was forgotten.

You say that like it's a bad thing.

I was actually expecting Steph to come out after HHH made his grand entrance, but then I realized that Flair was 'seeking medical attention' after the lead pipe shot from Vince....so in a way they did keep up continuity.

I think that was a minor booking offense. If they go through SD and next week's RAW without mentioning it, well you have got a case. But last night was HHH's return and why destroy the moment with something trivial like an angle. I wonder if this Angle/HHH thing is the start of something...I wonder if they will bring back the "Love Triangle" angle.

Either way, I think HHH will cost either Flair or VKM the match at the Rumble. Hey...didn't HHH's arms look "Steiner-like"?

I wonder if they will bring back the "Love Triangle" angle.

I'm not usually a fan of recycling old angles, but I'd make an exception for this one. That Angle/Steph/HHH thing they had going was an EXCELLENT storyline (prolly the best one they've had in like 2 years) and I was sorry to see them drop it the way they did.

I'm still not sure if I'd rather have them bring it up again (CONTINUITY~!) or pretend to forget about it and start all over again from scratch.

In my opinion the WWF is taking the Bischoff path which will no doubt hurt them, I mean were you shocked when Kurt's suprise was entering in the Royal Rumble? A forgotten 4DAYS of the Steph./Fair decision? Was Vince Russo rehired by the WWf?

If they go with an Angle/HHH fued, they cannot possibly ignore the entire Love Triangle....can they? I guess they can since Austin and Rocky tagged with no problem last night. Damn that sucks.

I think the Angle/HHH fued will depend on Steph. They can have them fued without making mention of the Love Triangle aspect if she's not involved. If she does pop back up (which she will), I think they'll keep the continuity, as they did when Kurt first jumped to the alliance. Even though they never picked up the pieces of Steph getting so chummy with both Test and RVD. If someone in the WWF was paying attention they could have H make a good case for divorcing Stephanie by just airing clips of any of those segments and having him ask her "What the hell is going on here?" I think that'd be too much to ask though.

They gotta bring these back!!!:
"talk to the hand because the man don't understand." - "The Crippler" Chris Benoit
"...and that is the LAST WORD." - "The Big Nasty" Paul Wight
and of course: "Don't hate the playa...HATE THE GAME~!" - WCW World Champion Booker T

They can, and I hope they won't. It would re-invigorate the entire program to have people wanting to see what would happen next, as compared to now, since HHH is back and has done overall nothing other than show Kurt Angle he's not a wuss, as there is nothing to fill the void. If any of us watched no shows between now and the Royal Rumble, as long as the WWF continued their usual ignoring good things style, we'd miss nothing.

I'm going to keep watching, hoping to tell someone no longer watching [my best friend] what he missed.

Hopefully in the near future they will not forget about the Stephanie/Ryno/Jericho storyline either.

This has become like a daytime soap opera where in may be months or either years for these storylines to develop!

Here's what I'd have done:

Have HHH come out and start talking like he did, only have Steph come out to interrupt instead of Angle and have her give a long-winded promo about how she's back in control again, blah-blah-blah. Then, *BOOM* he grabs her and pedigrees her, gets a HOOYGE pop, end of show.

Next show Jericho talks about having a new manager, HHH explains he dumped his wife because she A) tried to destroy the WWF or B) slept the entire Alliance or both.

Following Raw, Jericho brings Steph up as his new manager, and to keep the heel lines right, Vince cuts a promo on HHH saying after he watched his little girl get pedigreed, he knows family is bigger than business, or something.

HHH wins the Rumble, *INSTA*feud with Jericho over the bel and the woman, and there's your 'Mania main event. NO ONE is cheering anyone with Steph in their corner, and Jericho is the BIG BAD SUPER MEGA HEEL~! (backed by both Stephanie and Vince) that we need.

Of course, it makes sense so none of it will happen.

I agree with Fazzle, too. I mean, the "main event" situation is confusing as is... So, NOW...we have:
Jericho (heel)
Booker T (heel)
Angle (heel)
Taker (heel)
Bossman (heel)
Austin (face)
Rock (face)
HHH (face)
Rikishi (face)
Kane (face)

Yeah, I know that Bossman, Rikishi & Kane aren't REALLY main eventers, but hey, neither is Booker T (Oooh! Low blow!)

Tell me you did not just say that. The Book headlined Summerslam and probably will when the Rumble to go to Wrestlemania! OK, maybe not, but ummm he is Main Event material. Look at that tag match Monday, only 1 person looked and performed like he did not belong. That person was Bossman, not The Book. The Book is the man!

CAN YOU DIG IT, SUCKA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

my god. This thread scares me. My comment about WWF not wanting to confuse the fans was SARCASM. It was supposed to be insulting the WWF for trying to insult our intelligence.

But yet, I have people agreeing with me. Someone hold me, I'm frightened.

Dude, IT"S STEPHANIE...so if Angle and Triple H have an angle she'll HAVE to be the focal point.

I hate posting during the show, but I was filling out in random anyway, so here goes. I've tried to support HHH. I've never ragged on him for allegedly sucking since his return.
