I agree. Henry's ringwork has been pretty damn good for a midcarder and he seemed both excited and happy to be with Long in a long-term angle. Felt like the RAW fans were starting to warm to him, too. Maybe he'll get one last shot when he comes back, breaks up with Teddy, perhaps gets into a feud with a heel-turned Booker? The character and the guy both deserve that.
Actually, Test might not be a bad replacement for Henry as enforcer. Again, he's a big man who doesn't have much going moveset-wise, but Test has been showing a lot of in-ring personality in the last few months, so I don't think I would mind.

OH GOOD GOD NOOOOOO!
Not Test, anyone but Test. Test, IMO, is the biggest waste of time on RAW (Billy Gunn being the biggest waste on SmackDown). I am not a Mark Henry fan, but at least if you beat Henry, like Benoit did, it seemed to be a big deal because Henry was so strong in the ring and in real life. Test is a waste of space and time. He is a big pile of suck. If anything, bring A-Train over, have him be a MFer and push Hardy and A-Train as a viable tag team and make him the Deisel to Hardy's HBK (and no, I am not saying either A-Train or Hardy are in the same league as Deisel and HBK).
Either that or have Jericho swerve us all, and use Trish to get himself a title shot and then dump her and turn super heel.
I'm with Wpob, NO TEST, NO TEST! I have to admit, Mark Henry isn't so bad, hell I still chuckle at his bits with Mae Young on tape (Nope, didn't see or tape the hand thing). His sexual chocolate thing (post Sammy, which I also didn't see or tape) was kind of funny I admit, so hey, he's not remotely near Test Country. So unlike most of you, I'll give Mark some props.
After a quarter of a century on this planet, there's three things I know for sure... 1)Ain't nothing like a Dirty Pair marathon on New Year's Eve. 2)I'd make a fine Mrs. HHH II. 3) I'd make an acceptable Mrs. Orton. 1400 reasons to luv me!
I'm actually being somewhat serious, I was never a fan of his, I mean EVER. But the past few months he's been build and been doing a nice job. I think one good thing is that dropped the "I'm strong and I can bend and lift things" and has turned more into a big bad grizzly bear... He's never going to be your 5star technical heel but he can play the big bad roadblock for your babyface. And last few months he's been doing that better then any other heel roadblocks in recent memory.
He had a surprisingly good series of matches vs. Booker T in December and his recent match with Jericho I was at the edge of my seat. Most on the Net was upset that Jericho lost, but I didn't mind at all. It was a good match, good storytelling and the most babyface reaction Jericho has had since his s*l*o*w babyface turn. Fan's were behind Jericho during the match and actually chanted "You tapped out" to Henry after he tapped to the Walls with the ref distracted with Jazz and Trish... I think that's another positive for Henry, he now looks like one of the most legit and real heels on the Raw roster with the fan base really getting behind to whoever can defeat the beast and even with a recent loss to Booker T on PPV he still looks pretty intimidating and legit for his next feud.
The following is going to be the strangest thing I've ever written but here it goes. On Monday after Benoit defeated Henry pretty easily I thought "Wow that kind of a waste of Mark Henry" Yup I felt bad the Mark Henry got somewhat squashed bye Christ Benoit! Talk about bizarro world LoL... Plus Henry's got one of my favorite entrance music to add to me liking him.
(edited by Net Hack Slasher on 5.2.04 1103) smark/net attack wienerville advisory is lowered to YELLOW alert - Elevated (Due to Lesner still being champ, Benoit winning the Rumble, but HHH as champ is still a threat) 1/27
Get your WWE CD copy autographed by Stone Cold Steve Austin, Chris Jericho, Trish Stratus and Lilian Garcia after Raw... Oh MY! Christmas has come late. Can't get better then that.
FROM THE MELTZ:It was also reported that Mark Henry will undergo shoulder surgery tomorrow under Dr. James Andrews and be out for several months. The web site gave the storyline reason for the surgery, which is the match with Benoit on Monday's Raw. In actuality, that match and the crossface finish were designed as a storyline reason for a pre-existing injury.

So who is now gonna fill the (non-Evolution) secondary heel spot? Jericho's turning face. Kane is being pushed to main Mania.
Ah fuck does this mean long Test matches?
Wow, looking at the Raw roster now that I see where you're coming from. Raw is chock full of midcard faces who have been beaten by HHH. I guess you would have to say Christian and his rather weak offense are next in line.
More than likely we will get a heavy dose of Steiner and Test. I'd much rather they show some balls and give us a heavy dose of Matt Hardy V.1 and Stevie Richards. Both are good on the stick and provide us with some fresh match-ups.
Gowen is one of those very short term hype things...
I thought it was interesting what a one-legged kid could do in wrestling. Of course, it was only interesting for awhile. The restrictions of having one leg are very big, and Zack would not have gone very far in his career.
Its like Matt Hardy said(even though its Matt Hardy) Zack Gowen got all the media attention because he is a one-legged wrestler...
Anyone can logcially figure out that anyone with that kind of disability won't get far in wrestling...
As for Mark Henry...
Well Ill just say the Incredible Bulk is out a couple months... my TV won't get clogged up for awhile
He may be 400 pounds, but If Goldberg could Jackhammer the Big Show (the Giant) in WCW... its obvious he can Jackhammer this guy
Yet another factoid: Since the "winner gets a WM title shot" rule was introduced as part of the Royal Rumble in 1993, the Royal Rumble winner is 6-3 at the advertised Wrestlemania main event. This includes co-winners Lex Luger (loss)
