Can't argue that one. Except it does spark the debate again of, is this the WWE Hall of Fame, or the HOF for wrestling in general. Much like Gagne's induction a few years ago. Then again, had Verne not been stupid enough to let Hogan get away, there may have never even been a WWE HOF. So I guess he did play a big role in their history.
Dusty is one of the top 5 all time guys in the business, so he deserves recognition, but his run in WWF was hardly worth remembering. I wonder if Vince will make him wear a polka dot tux? Regardless, it should be a great induction speech. My guess is Flair will induct him. Or Race?
Dean! Have you been shooting dope into your scrotum? You can tell me! I'm hip!

Sadly, Steamboat isn't getting inducted for a while, since it's not the same inducting "Richard Blood".

Yeah, I know the whole story about Bonnie and everything but, considering the WWE still uses the name "Ricky Steamboat" (here it is all over Ric Flair's WWE 24/7 Online page - and, during their brief liscensing struggle with Marvel Comics, they changed all the "Hulk Hogan"s to just "Hogan" in this very same section), so I'm thinking the Internet might be making a mountain of a molehill in this instance.
Oh, and Dusty's kids are inducting him says to me that Arn Anderson is going in this year.
I wonder when Bob Backlund will get the call. He deserves it more than many of the guys who are in there now.
So does Arn. Is there a requirement that guys be retired for a certain number of years before they are eligible? Mick, the Rock, Trish, and Jericho also belong.
Bruno is another huge name that is missing, and we know he has consistently refused anything to do with Vince's entertainment.
Two other guys who I think belong but won't get there are Warrior and Macho Man. Add the late, but lovely, Elizabeth to the deserving but not likely list as well.
Last, I think Tony Garea is too often overlooked as well. Since he still works for Vince I wonder why he hasn't made it yet?
At one point I thought we'd see Earl Hebner get inducted, but I doubt it after Vince fired him for unauthorized selling stuff.

I think he's one of the guys that doesn't want to go in because he still considers himself "active." And he won't be going in so long as he's associated with TNA.

Requirements? I don't think even WWE is putting that much thought into the HOF. And Hogan STILL wrestles, so there is no retirement requirement.
My complete Rumble thoughts and more!: Experience It
How about the friggin' Road Warriors? It won't be the same without Hawk giving a speech, but still...
I expect at least one of Big Bossman, Curt Hennig, or Macho Man this year.
I won't say who the rumored list is for this year which Hogan allegedly spilled to the net, but I'm sure the final list will be very similar if it's not exactly the same.
If Vince is truly pissed at Hogan, maybe he will induct Macho this year out of spite for Hogan. Either way, Macho HAS to be in at some point, as do Bruno and Backlund. It is not the same without them, even if they are crazy/disgruntled.
