Do you think they've made enough changes to warrant the major build number changing 3 separate times, or do they think that having a big number makes it seem like they're making progress? Or is this just an excuse to get more cakes from Microsoft?
They decided on this insane release cycle/version update that's baffling pretty much everyone. Minor updates, instead of being a subset of a main release, will get their own release number if they fall within the release cycle. Yeah, I don't get it either.
Holy crap. I'm still on 3. I had installed 4 at one point, wasn't happy with the changes (I'm a total "I like it the way I know it" guy) and hit the System Restore. I had no idea they'd gone beyond 4! Maybe it's time to suck it up and upgrade, but I'm not sure to what!
Thanks for the assist guys, but it was a stupid thing in the end. Adobe Photoshop Album Starter Edition has a component that scans any removable devices for pictures. This apparently causes problems with the drive letters displaying.
