I recently started having problems with my Firefox. First all my bookmarks have disappeared and I am unable to restore them. When I try to add a new bookmark, it does nothing. The window pops up but when I click "ok", nothing happens. And two days ago all my cookies disappeared. And Firefox doesn't seem to be making any new ones? I really like Firefox and like to keep it. Can you help me to fix these problems?

Thank you guys.

Any reason why you can't just reinstall it?

Lloyd: When I met Mary, I got that old fashioned romantic feeling, where I'd do anything to bone her.
Harry: That's a special feeling.

My first thought is a profile issue.
Try here C:\Documents and Settings\\Local Settings\Application Data\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles - see what profile it's using.
Try here C:\Documents and Settings\\Application Data\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles - see if they match
If not, there should be an old profile stored there that would contain the bookmark backup and cookies.txt
Or just go here http://www.mozilla.org/support/firefox/profile and let the experts help you.

Crucial's Website on Your Machine Specs It says your system has two banks of one. The number of banks is the number of modules you need to add to reach your RAM maximum.
