Yes, in my opinion.

As seen here.

Check through this folder, there have been a few threads on Firefox recently. If you have a specific questoin, feel free to ask and I'll tell you what I know.

I really enjoy it a lot especially the tab feature where you can view more then one site all in one window. The only problem I have had with it is some sites have features only available in IE but other then that its fantastic.

Better than IE, but don't dump IE completely. Some interactive sites don't show up correctly in Firefox. I needed to buy stock photos through Corbis.com and couldn't figure out why my lightboxes and selections weren't appearing. Fired it up in IE and everything worked fine. I use Firefox about 90% of the time, though.

Even better, go here with Firefox and install the IEView extension. When it's installed, you can right-click on any page in Firefox and there'll be an option that says "View in IE" that launches the given page in Internet Explorer.

That IEview extension is kinda' wacky. Pretty much the same as "cut n' paste the URL into IE". Is there an extension that imbeds an IE view inside Firefox, and doesn't require launching IE? Especially annoying when you're logged in on a secure site, then have to launch IE and log in again. Not slamming your suggestion... just curious if there's something better.

Yes, it works the same as cut and paste, but it's a one click action instead of cut, open IE, and paste. The Netscape prototype browser based on Firefox embeds IE, but it's insecure. Any site can switch you into IE mode, and then take advantage of any security holes in IE. Mozilla has suggestions for users about what to do about browser specific sites. Users taking those actions, along with a decreasing IE market share, should lower the number of IE only sites in the future.

Are you sure it's just not minimized? Move the pointer to the bottom of the screen, and see if you get the arrow cursor. Or, maybe you're monitor settings are off. Check your video card drivers, and try the hardware settings on your monitor.
