There are some finishers that I just can't seem to remember what look like, or maybe I havent seen them , so I'm hoping some of you can help explaining them to me :

Steiner Screwdriver
Stevie Ray Slapjack
Jericho's Breakdown
Nash's Snake Eyes

Homer: There's your giraffe, little girl.
Ralph: I'm a boy!
Homer: That's the spirit. Never give up.

Steiner Screwdriver: Suplex into a sit out Tombstone. Beyond brutal.

Stevie Ray Slapjack: Crappy looking Pedigree

Jericho's Breakdown: A full nelson reverse Russian legsweep (I think)

Nash's Snake Eyes: Big Sexy scoops the guy up like he was going to do a running powerslam, but instead drops them face first on the top turnbuckle. From the old Vinnie Vegas days, if you were wondering about the name.

Some of those definitions may require some tweaking.

The Breakdown is the full-nelson facedrop Grandmasta Sexay used to use. (If you own a Wrestling Videogame, it'll probably be there). Basically, it's a full nelson headlock, followed by a trip that lands the guy straight on his face. Jericho doesn't do it all that smoothly.

Since I never watched WCW, I don't think I ever got to see this Shane Helms "vertebreaker" move that everyone speaks so fondly of...what exactly is that??? Is it that double underhook powerbomb thingy where the guy gets dropped on the back of his neck??

Okay, picture putting the guy on your shoulders, like you're setting them up for a Doomsday Device.

Now, hold onto the legs, and let their body fall backward, until you're touching back to back, with him upside down.

Now, sit down, dropping the poor ham n' egger on his neck and shoulders.

You've just done a Vertebreaker.

Mike

I don't know if he was the first, but I remember that Dennis Condrey, during his early TBS appearances with the Midnight Express, did the full-nelson sweep and it was then called "the dream buster."

FWIW.

Choose life. Choose a job. Choose a career. Choose a family...Choose washing machines, cars, compact disc players and electrical tin openers. Choose good health, low cholesterol, and dental insurance...Choose sitting on that couch watching mind-numbing, spirit crushing game shows, stuffing junk food into your mouth...Choose a future. Choose life... But why would I want to do a thing like that?

Jeff Jarrett did the full nelson, front-Russian legsweep too. Except, he didn't name it until he went back to WCW in '99. Called it the Stroke.

The vertibreaker is set up more or less like Christian's unprettier. I'm not exactly sure on this part, but I think Helms ends up being the one with his head down, and against his opponent's back. From there, Helms stands straight up (his arms locked with his opponent's, holding his opponent upside down behind him), and sits down, dropping them on their head/neck/shoulders.

The move is in Smackdown 3 if you have it. Would make for a decent visual aid.

I'll think of something witty later, I promise.

Sometimes I get a little nit picky (Maybe because I'm a JJ mark )...

Jeff Jarrett didn't really do a Full Nelson Foward Legsweep, he did a Foward Russian Legsweep. He set the man up like a normal Russian Legsweep, but went foward instead of backwards.

Ok you can now hit me with a frying pan...

Here's the offical entry for the Vertebreaker from the BBOWM:

Piledriver, Reverse Gory Special

Used by : Megumi Kudoh, Shane Helms

AKA : Spinning Kudoh Driver (Megumi Kudoh), Vertibreaker (Helms)

Description : The victim is behind the attacker. The attacker places the victim's head between their legs and hooks both their arms. The attacker turns around so the victim is now in front of the attacker facing the same direction, at the same time, the victim ducks down and sticks their head between the victim's legs and stands up while still having the arms hooked. The victim is lifted up so they are now upside down, the attacker suspends the victim by keeping their arms trapped. The attacker holds the victim's arms and grabs the victim's legs. The attacker sits down, dropping the victim on their head/back of the neck.

It'd be quite a move for Helms to bust out from out of nowhere. Perhaps a feud with Christian, culminating with Helms winning the European title by reversing the unprettier into the vertibreaker.

He damn near got over on that move alone in WCW.

Helms reportedly used the move in a dark match recently... So they may let him bust one out in the future.

WARNING: SPOILER HIGHLIGHT the text to read what it is.

On Jakked this week: (thank you to Lords Of Pain)

Hurricane with Molly vs AJ Styles
Winner: Hurricane via Vertebreaker
Notes: Huge Pop for Hurricane and Molly. Hurricane dishes out the Vertebreaker to a huge pop. Good to see AJ Styles. He missed a huge shooting star press.

I was referring more to who would take it on a Raw/Smackdown show, but it's cool to see they signed him.

I don't care really. He was a last days of WCW cruiserweight that impressed me, and that's a rare thing.

Of course, cruiserweights usually don't fare too well in the WWF...
