The Mediapartners-Google bot picked up the megaclick. Closest users on either side were Broncolanche and Leroy.

Our Quantcast ranking as I type this: 144,657

If I were the kind who makes New Year's Resolutions, I think I could try to spend 2010 bumping us up into the five-digit realm of Q rankings. COME ON WHO IS WITH ME

so, if we WERE to be with you, what would we have to do to make that happen. And, why is that important to you?

We'll be back right after order has been restored here in the Omni Center.

That the universe was formed by a fortuitous concourse of atoms, I will no more believe than that the accidental jumbling of the alphabet would fall into a most ingenious treatise of philosophy - Swift

1. I have no idea. If I'd known, I'd have done it by now!

2. Eh - just looking for a goal to set. Or should I say "quasi-realistic goal?"

Back when I really had the search engine mojo working, I think I had calculated that we needed about 60 extra visitors a day to break into the top 99999 according to Quantcast. I don't know if that's still accurate or not. Let's see:

Right now, Q says we're at 144,657 with 12,642 people a month.

The site at 99,999 gets 12,552 people a month - oh, wait, that's *US* people. Q says we get 8,368 US people a month. OK, now we're talking a 50% increase in American traffic, or 150 extra Americans a day. This now seems less realistic. ;-)

Probably to get more visits, we could use more of any or all of: visitors (duh), search engine mojo, users, posts, posting users. I may be missing something obvious in that list as well.

Aaron always threatens external advertising, but I don't think either of us have actually figured out WHERE advertising might help us with any of the above.

Well, based upon which threads generally dominate the monthly "Topics of Interest" lists, I think it's pretty obvious what would get those additional added clicks that you're seeking.
