Here's another movie we don't have an icon for! I can't believe CRZ isn't on top of the low-budget Canadian black comedies.

But yeah. Fido. Saw it this weekend. Stars Carrie-Anne Moss, Tim Blake Nelson, Henry Czerny, and Billy Connoly. It is the 1950s; after the Zombie Wars, humans all keep domesticated zombies as servants. Imagine Shaun of the Dead, but more quaint. And with less swearing. And no English accents. So it's not really that much like Shaun of the Dead. Though they did run the trailer for Hot Fuzz before the movie...

Anyway, this was pretty cute! I didn't bust a gut laughing or anything, but I chuckled quite a few times. I wouldn't suggest you rush out to see it, but you probably can't anyway, unless you live in Canada. And even those who COULD rush out and see it aren't doing so, judging by the whopping four people at the theatre on Saturday afternoon.

But it's certainly worth a rental, if you still rent movies. Maybe put it in your "NetFlix" "queue" or whatever it is you kids do.

So if you recall, way back in season two when Leslie is on the date with the MRI tech Chris (played by Will Arnett), Chris gives her an MRI and then comments on her 'industrial sized oven' and how she could go 'triplets right off the bat'.
