Folding@Home - it's a project out of Stanford university for people to use their home PC to try to help understand how different proteins fold. This research may help find a cure for various kinds of cancer, Alzheimer's, Parkinson's, etc.

I set up a team for people from The W to contribute to. The link at the top of the page goes to the stats page that I set up for us to track our progress.

Parts Unknown sent along this (slightly altered) image of collegiate sports and collegial atmosphere back in May. Those are some swell shirts those guys are wearing, but I'm pretty sure those are GANG SIGNS they're flashing.
