As someone who's obsessed with history, I'd only be cool with a new park for the Red Sox as long as the following two conditions are met:

-- New Fenway is an exact replica of Old Fenway complete with Green Monster save for better seating
-- Old Fenway stays in use until 2012 (its centennial)

Then again, since I'm a Yankee fan, my opinion probably doesn't count for much in the eyes of you Bostonians anyway.
