Just thought I'd pass along the good word about Action Figure Express, a great online store where you can buy cases of action figures at practically retail cost. I don't work for them or anything, and don't mean this to be a type of commercial or spam for them, I'm just trying to help some fellow collectors out. Myself, I only collect the Masters of the Universe toy line. Recently, the latest wave of Heroic Warriors were released, but like a lot of other people, they're nowhere to be found in my area. I went to their webpage and ordered a case from them. The case assortment is 3 Martial Arts He-Man, 2 Sy-Klone, and 1 Prince Adam and the price was $49.95, which is only $8.33 a figure (before shipping costs). The case arrived in about 5 days and the figures were in perfect condition. It totally beats driving around to endless toy and retail stores looking for the new figures but coming up empty handed. I think I've found my new way to shop for my action figures. Again, I know this sounds like a commercial for them, but I do not have anything to do with them and am just trying to help out other collectors who have the same problems with finding the newest figures of their toy line as I do/did. Click the link below to check out their site. Anybody else ever order from these guys and want to add to the AFX love to make this sound even more like a commercial for them??
Well, that's no fun. I'm collecting the new MOTU figures as well, and most of the fun is finally finding that Trap-Jaw figure after searching for months and months.
(Not that I'm not almost that tempted just to finally get a Ram-Man, but that's besides the point...)
"It's just like the story of the grasshopper and the octopus. All year long, the grasshopper kept burying acorns for the winter, while the octopus mooched off his girlfriend and watched TV. But then the winter came, and the grasshopper died, and the octopus ate all his acorns. And also he got a racecar. Is any of this getting through to you?" -----Phillip J. Fry, Futurama
I thought Roth IRA's weren't tax deductable when you make the money, only when you withdraw the money. Traditional IRA's (and 401k, 457s, and 403b) are tax deductable when you earn the money, but not when you withdraw it.
