Ahem. I see you have Stereophonics on the list. On the right list, too (top 40). However, they're going in the wrong direction. I believe you meant they were moving UP from #40.
I'm curious how some of the other songs off of Thirteenth Step will do as singles. "Weak and Powerless" is the most radio-friendly on the album, but far from the strongest track. I'm thinking "Pet" would be a good choice for 3rd single. 2nd and 4th, I don't know about. Maybe "The Outsider" and "Blue."

Oh, just shut up! I hate being superpatriotic in defending Canadian bands (especially if they suck), but Hot Hot Heat is some of the best music I've heard coming out of here in YEARS.
My Calgary Flames are currently tied for first place overall with a record of 0-0-0-0. It's training camp, but it's a start, right?
ToIAAF: You, uh, do realize that the aforementioned Hot Hot Heat songs don't sound anything like their earlier material on Steps One Through Thirteen, right? Because that old stuff would probably be bottom 10 material, but nothing on Make Up the Breakdown.
VanillaSky: Nope. No, it doesn't. Haven't heard any Darkness, but Stereophonics is EASILY top 40-level. 'Specially that song in particular.
I have downloaded several Ben Kweller songs off the net (ooooh, evil) and was wondering if anyone else has heard any of his stuff. Normally, I don't listen to mellow-pop, but when I do, this is the style I enjoy.
