Which side of the fence are you falling on Linkin Park's new song? It's only been about a week since it's been available, but I've been listening, and it seems pretty mediocre for a first single on a sophomore effort.
I heard part of the new Limp Bizkit song, and it SUCKS. It was on K-Rock's playlist for a week, and it's not on it anymore. Can't wait for them to get booed at Mania.
The new Linkin Park song's pretty blase, yeah. It'll probably fall into the bottom ten eventually after the runs of some of the stuff that's in there now are over.
I finally heard the new Hed pe song today, and as a big fan of most all the stuff on Broke, I have to say that Blackout is a flaming shithole and I really hope the rest of the CD doesn't just sound like pop songs with screaming over them. Pretty generic and sucky all at once.
Well, the new Limp is already dropping this week at radio, even though it was leaked instead of being an official single. And "Bandages"'ll probably eventually come back, it had a really good run, and since it's only now gaining radio play, it looks to hang around another long while and'll probably creep back up the chart, like "No One Knows" did for a while.
Ah, Limp Bizkit. I remember when they opened for Primus here in '97, and we booed them off the stage. Fred proceeded to cuss us out, and we continued to boo. We were waiting to see the band with TALENT.
In 25 days at Safeco, I'll be booing those rat bastard talentless hacks to the best of my ability, no doubt.
While we're waiting for today's CRZ video to upload, let's all enjoy gusgus - or if you like, Gus Gus - recorded for Seattle's KEXP but graciously shared on YouTube for you and I, BY them, earlier this week.
