I'm not much of a Fear Factory fan, but I've heard this album and OH. MY. GOD.

It is absolutely fan-fucking-tastic.

Nope, no Gary Numan, so shite watered down Digimortal-esque rock, it's all metal, all the time.

What happened to their previous guitarist?

They haven't done anything good since Demanufacture, so it's not like you've been missing anything

Basically, they didn't like playing with Dino Cazares any more, so Burton C. Bell came up with this "musical differences" excuse to leave the band and the other two decided they didn't want to play as Fear Factory with a different singer, so the band split up. And as soon as Cazares joined his new group, Fear Factory reformed.*

Christian, the bass player, moved onto guitar and the bassist from Strapping Young Lad joined the band. And now Archetype is coming out soon and it WILL kick all of your asses.

*According to Dino Cazeres anyway...

Our local radio station also picked up an interesting Christina story. Besides apparently being a carrot, her...umm...nether-region piercings have been causing troubles for her at airport screenings.
