HHH's 'My Time' still gets my neck hair standing.
And of course, Sting. Cause you were always promised a great GREAT match.

YES! And you know what added so much more to that moment? Go back and watch your tape...I love the way Heenan and Gorilla said at the same time, with utter dread, pity, and disgust in the voice... "Jake...the snake...Roberts..."
Favorite old-school themes: 1. Mr. Perfect: I still pop every time I hear this song. 2. The Mountie: Absolutely hilarious 3. Roddy Piper: You know someone's getting a beat-down. 4. REEEEE-PO man 5. Bushwhackers: The song makes you actually WANT to see these idiots.
Current favorites: 1. The Game: How any of you like "My Time" over the Motorhead song is beyond me. 2. Break the Walls Down 3. RVD: It fits him perfectly. It sounds like it was recorded by two teenagers in some guy's basement. 4. Lance Storm 5. "Bodies": The promos for Summerslam were some of the best I have ever seen. Also the "My Way" promos for Wrestlemania. Wow. Goosebumps.
Least favorite: 1. Steinerline: This song makes absolutely no sense. 2. Double J's original WWF song: Good heel music, annoyed me to death. 3. Test: my God, I hate his entrance. 4. X-Factor
To be honest with you, my favorite entrances have never had music. Think Berzerker and The Flock. | Papercuts!

Remember, during that feud, when DiBiase told Roberts he had his neck X-rays up on the wall in his lodge? Why can't we have feuds like that any more?
Man, good ol' Jake...what a master of psychology he was back in the day.

Uh, just for clarification, the song is "Walk" by Pantera, although respect is certainly said a lot. The version RVD ended up using in ECW was actually by a band called Kilgore, I believe. It was a cover of "Walk", but with the intro, the chorus repeated many many times, and the outro. Just thought I'd clear that up. =)
Great themes:
Hakushi - I have it on Full Metal the Album or whatever, and it's always a good piece of music to listen to. Gangrel - Just love the music, suits him very well. Triple H - My Time and The Game are both good songs for him. Chris Benoit - I've always liked this music, I don't know why. The Rockers - I mark out whenever I hear this music! Million Dollar Man, Ted DiBiase - "Money, money, money, money, moneeey!" C'mon, this song has EVERYTHING! Edge - You think you know me. I don't like his new version, but the second one that he and Christian used was good. Speaking of Christian... Christian - Blood Brother, the one he used maybe 3 times in his career. It's the one in the SmackDown: Just Bring It! game, although that one is slightly different. Owen Hart - The one he used when he first turned heel back in the day, I believe. Steve Austin - The first version of his Stone Cold glass breaking music, the one on WWF The Music Volume 2 without him talking. Jerry Lynn - Fear Factory's "Scape Goat". Great song, I love Fear Factory.
Wow this is too long, I'm done.

| #49 Posted on 5.1.02 1522.06 | Wooohooo! I got some Hakushi theme love on this board! I can die happy now...
But not until I add a few more songs (None as good as my first ones, though.)
-Psychosis (ECW, atleast that's what the page I saw it on said): Battery by Metallica. I just realy like this song.
-Eddy Guerrero's "Lowrider" ripoff: So much better than "Latino Heat" could ever be. Chavo better have this theme when he comes back (or maybe one day Eddy himself.)
-Jericho's Original WCW theme (Also know as the theme they used for any new guy or jobber.): Cheesie guitar riffs rule!!
-Hayabusa's theme: Don't know if he's changed it, but the one I have I like immensly.
-Cactus Jack: Born to be Wild! And I liked all his WWF themes as well.
-Taka's WWF theme: (Pre Kaientai)
-Raven's WCW theme: I actually like this song better than the one it was susposed to be based off of (Which I can't remember, if that tells you anything.)
Ok, now to die...
Nothing is better than X-pac!
It's all in the inflection...

| #54 Posted on 6.1.02 1640.35 | You know, I doubt these would count as Theme Songs, but did anyone ever hear the good ol' Wrestlemania Album?
Man, if they had Bossman enter to the Wrestlemania Album version of Hard Times he'd be more over than The Rock. Which makes me wonder why they don't drop Rollin' and just have Undertaker come out to The Man In Black.
Hoo Boy those were some great songs. Nothing could console me after my girlfriend and I had a fight better than Bret Harts incredible love ballad, Never Been a Right Time to Say Goodbye...
Heck, Linda McMahon uses an instrumental version of the main track as her theme song.
Man, if you guys haven't heard these songs you don't know what you're missing. I bet you could pick up the CD in any self respecting music store for about $5...and I suggest you do.

| #58 Posted on 7.1.02 1645.22 | First of all, since it was brought up, Jake vs. DiBiase is (still) my all time favorite feud. But that's another thread. Two theme songs I dig that haven't been mentioned yet.
1. The Nation. LOVED the theme, and also really dug the cathphrases scattered in there. I thought it was so cool that different members had pretty much the same music but different catchphrases in there ("I tried to be a nice guy"). I would mark out like nobody's business if they reformed the Nation complete with theme music.
2. Scott Steiner's music. Actually, this is just because I think this is the only entrance music that isn't in 4/4 time. It took me forever to figure out the reason the siren sounded so weird is because it's in 7/4.

| #59 Posted on 7.1.02 1815.35 | I've tended to have an odd taste in entrance themes, so in reverse order. I didn't get to see much ECW, so this is going to fit into a mostly "mark" mindset.
10. "Marvelous" Marc Mero 9. TAFKA Goldust's "Beautiful People" Ripoff that he came out to as "Marilyndust" 8. "You Think You Know Me" (second version) 7. The Dudleyz' original WWF Theme, without the bombs. 6. The Natural Born Thrillers/ O'Haire and Palumbo 5. "Danger At The Door" (D-Lo Brown's "Real Deal" theme) 4. PRIME TIME Elix Skipper 3. Hardyz 2. Alex Wright's Techno Theme (from before he teamed with Disco) 1. "Everybody's Got a Price" (Million Dollar Man) This is just one of the most appropriate themes for a gimmick ever created, and would still cause a gigantic reaction to this day.
Honorable Mentions go to "My Time", Ernest Miller's "I'm The Greatest", and "WELL It's the BIG SHOW!!!"

| #60 Posted on 10.1.02 1403.14 | Wow... so many faves... how about some not mentioned yet:
1. Rick Rude's post DA music in WCW... underrated little ditty 2. Savage's last WCW music, with G. George starting it with, "Oooh, Macho!" was awesome. I mean, it's no "Pomp & Circumstance," but hey, sometimes we all must change. 3. Warlord, and much, much later, Taz, coming out to the original version of "War Machine." Hey, I'm a KISS mark. 4. "Flyin'" Brian had Def Lep's "Rocket" and that was cool, but anyone remember the cheezy post-Blondes, pre-Horseman "California Brian" song, which repeated, "Blondes have more fun!" and whose video showed him cruising down Venice Beach and the Sunset Strip in a convertible? God, no wonder he became a ticking time bomb. 5. Finally, one of my all-time personal faves, the New Breed using "You've Gotta Fight For Your Right (To Party)." I mean, it's 2002 now. It seemed so far away back then. Too bad Royal and Champion never made it bigger, because they entertained the heck out of me.
That's all for me
