Although to be fair I think you made that exact point FIRST at the time it happened.
The ring collapsing was unfreakinbelievable, it was truly a mark out moment for those who hadnt read the spoilers that week (ME!). Eddies rise to being the most over face on Smackdown aside from Kurt, even with them trying to turn him heel. Benoit carrying Lesnar to an awsome world title match a few weeks back (not that Lesnar needs carrying but against Benoit the match was awsome). The ironman match i cant count in good faith as a wrestling fan, the only reason i say that is while it was awsome, almost as good as Bret and Shawn, the commercials ruined it for me. I would have built that match for a PPV but thats a different thread for a different day. Matt Hardy V.One-ahhhh was great as usual, though I'm still upset that the original plan was for him to destroy Rey and they gave it to Gay-train. I'm even more upset that they put the Pig Slow over Eddie for the US belt. John Cena has really emerged as one of the true stars created from the brand extension, one of the only new stars created. Ultimo Dragon debuting was awsome but it didnt last long cause they havent done a dern thing with him. Piper coming back was fun just so we could hear him ramble again. Rikishi coming back was...uh...piper coming back was fun at least. Rocks promos when he returned were good. "The Rocks not in Green Bay tonight...Thank God" the fans boo "its cold in green Bay. Hey you remember Wisconson right? Great Pie!" The initial feud over the US title was great with Eddie, Tajiri, Benoit, and Rhyno. And last but least, the rise of the true star of WWE now, SPANKY!!!!
I liked the show had a running theme to it. I did think HHH beating Benjamin was kinda lame, not one face went over to knock Flair away from the ref, WTF?!
