Thanks Ryback, Big Show, & Kane for spoiling a perfect prediction run.

Kane, Big Show, & Ryback d. Rowan, Harper, & Stroman (The Wyatt Family)

Charlotte retained the DIVAS Title against Brie Bella

Does the lack of any Wyatt interference in the triple threat suggest that they're not doing Lesnar/Wyatt, or that they simply just didn't want to overbook the main event?

Wyatt's whole storyline is wanting to take down the titans of WWE, and there isn't a bigger one in the company than Brock Lesnar. So it seems to fit into the story they're telling with the Wyatts. If nothing happens between them on Raw, then I'd consider that maybe there'd been a change of plans.

The 'taking down the titans' storyline would've made more sense, of course, if the Wyatts had actually beaten Show/Kane/Ryback, but god forbid the Wyatts are ever booked strongly.

I actually think we're getting Brock vs. Dean at Wrestlemania. Throw the Wyatts and all the big guys into the Andre Battle Royale and then have Bray actually win to finally give him a major victory.

George Michael weighed his options. Maeby had chastised him for not taking risks, and what would be a bigger risk than perpetuating a lie about software just to ignite the passions of a woman? Of course it would be a lie, and since Maeby wouldn't know it was a lie, he wouldn't appear to be taking a risk. Perhaps the bigger risk was to tell his father he was lying, that he came up with it because he wanted his father to leave so he could enjoy what remained of his senior year. After all, he wondered, wouldn't that be the course of action taken by an overtly sexual man, a man who owns a pair of matador pants? He had not responded now for 41 seconds according to his unfailing internal clock, and it was time to come clean.

Nous ne nous pouvons pas sortir.
Thought the Wyatt's would slay the Titans, cost Brock the match to go after the last Titan, take the title shot from Roman, and give the win to Dean since Bray must have a soft spot for the only guy he's won a feud against in the last.... EVER? Didn't really think that, but look at all that continuity!

They don't Roman to be the next Rock, they want him to be the next Cena, 50/50 reactions and all. Otherwise why book him like this? It's like watching Mister Magoo perform open heart surgery.

Notes from the audience:

Loved seeing KO live. He was blowing kisses to the crowd, and smashed a Dolph sign post-match.

Shouldn't have got my hopes up for New Day getting one of the NXT tag teams, because man was the League of Nations disappointing compared to that.

Great dueling chants for Y2J and AJ. Loved seeing the Styles Clash! Can't believe that didn't get the pin though.

Totally agree with the Wyatt reaction so far. I do not understand what they are thinking with neutering them so badly.

I hope the boos for Roman came across well. I have no interest in watching Roman - HHH at Wrestlemania.

I missed the Wyatt match due to sick child other than that and the Superman way Reigns won, I thought it was a good PPV. Mad respect for Owens/Ziggler and AJ/Jericho. Brie even showed up to have a good match, WTF. The problem with this PPV has always been everyone is looking towards Mania. Very rarely does this PPVset up anything that we didn't already have. We are now headed to six weeks of Reigns/HHH as our main event. Now, they can add Rock and Rousey which is fine, I guess. Still, at the end of the day, we have not so over face going against an old champion who thinks he can get anyone over especially if he shoots all over him. Not to mention his untouchable wife and IRL grumpy father-in-law.

The rest of the Mania card could be good enough to be actually be really great. The Women's Title will have real talent, the first time in decades. We have a very good IC and Tag champions that can make any feud interesting. Especially if we get AJ/Owens. Brock/Ambrose in a bloody match could be Hart/Austin. Now, the bad is no cares about the US title. The Wyatts, Jericho and most of the roster including Undertaker have nothing going in. Not to mention they are going to shove a bunch of these guys into meaningless Battle Royals. This is dangerously close to being a trainwreck.

I understand Big Show, Kane, and Ryback going over. I mean, you have to do something to elevate the younger guys, and that team is 4 years younger than the Wyatt Family, if you include all four of them when tallying ages.

Only watched because my free month hadn't run out yet from the Rumble. Almost turned it off after the aforementioned match.

Then AJ hit the Styles Clash and Jericho kicked out and I closed the tab. I'm officially done with WWE. They're incapable of holding my interest any longer. I'm not going to watch another WWE-produced show (outside of UUDD) until either Bray Wyatt or Xavier Woods wins the world title clean.

They did not. Post-win, they started to. But then it got really quiet. I could see people who looked like they were all making noise, but I couldn't hear anything. I thought I was having a stroke. Fortunately, it wasn't a stroke, just audio manipulation.

There are elegant solutions to problematic booking and then there's what WWE does. This show was interesting. I liked everything from the pre-show up to the Wyatt match. The booking of the Wyatts is infuriating and confusing only when we as viewers go in expecting them to be anything more than Oddities v2.0 featuring Waylon Mercy Millenial Edition. Once I accepted them for the jobbers they are, everything about them became easier to watch but also less interesting. Which creates an interesting POV; I no longer get fired up about how they never go anywhere but I now don't care to see them. So, congratulations?

God help me, Brie Bella was wrestling someone and Brie wasn't the worst performer in the ring. So as part of her heel character, Charlotte forgot how to sell anything? That was awful to watch and it wasn't all Brie's fault. She was over, the crowd would've popped huge had she won and I would've too. Either Charlotte is on some next level heel work, making me actively boo her based on her mechanics, or she's in way over her head and isn't ready yet. I think it's the latter.

I love watching Brock Lesnar do cool shit. I hate watching Roman Reigns being booked to be tougher than Brock Lesnar, but here we are. Kimora? 3-5 chair shots? Psssh. OOOOOOOOAAAHHH spear, son!

We got RTruth vs Joe Henning as the semi-Main on the PPV leading in to Wrestlemania. Yup.

Maybe it's just me, but I don't get chanting "This is Awesome" and "Holy Shit" during a match and then less than ten minutes later booing the guy who wins. And it's not like they were chanting during the parts of the match he was taking a powder. They were chanting during Roman's part in the match. So make up your mind, fickle fans -- was he a big part of that match being awesome and maybe-kinda-sorta deserving of his push, or are you just too cool to admit it because you like being That Guy Who Boos the Top Guy WWE Wants Us to Like?

Went to an indie show last night. Skimmed the results and didn't feel like going out of my way to watch Fast Lane.

Considering the general sentiment on social media was "LOL FU H8RS UL PAY 4 THE NETWORK CUZ UR SUGAR DADDY GIVES U UR LITTLE FLIPPY GUYS", I felt like the waters were already testy in that regard.

People compare the Reigns push to the Luger push in 93-94, but Vince eventually threw up his arms and went with Bret, imo this is more like the Diesel push when Vince gave Nash a near one year title run that tanked ratings and business. Vince is twenty years older now and probably twice as stubborn, and quite frankly a pretty terrible booker at this stage so I see no end in sight for this Reigns mega push.

The Owens-Ziggler and Jericho-AJ matches were definite highlights of the show though nobody in the arena though Ziggler was gonna win, and even in his home state Ziggler might have been slightly less over Owens. Jericho and Styles had some rough spots in the match and Jericho nearly killed AJ a few times but both still held it together and had the fans in the palm of their hand. Jericho kicking out of the Styles clash after AJ hits it the second time in the WWE career is ridiculous. The Styles clash in Japan was built up so strongly for two years that no one ever kicked out of it and in his first singles PPV it gets kicked out of? I'm not saying never kicked out of it but not this early. Great sell job by Jericho in the calf crusher though.

The New Day-Edge and Christian and others segment will be tough to top as the worst segment of the year and the material given was hideous. Not looking forward to New Day vs The League of Jobbers.

Reigns recovering from numerous numerous chair shots in a minute if that was something.

All in all, I'd give the ppv a slight thumbs up.

Charlotte is obviously a good wrestler offensively speaking and she's got the Flair name but I've always thought she was behind the others in selling and in character (other than just saying "I'm Ric Flair's daughter! Woo!). I think a big reason is because of her obvious athleticism and her lineage Charlotte was always on top in NXT and didn't have to sell as much. But Sasha, Bayley, Becky, etc. all had to work their way up from a position of losing a lot first.

I actually hope they are phasing out the Styles Clash. I've never been a huge fan because from a kayfabe perspective I don't know how the move is supposed to be that deadly. And now he's in the WWE where he's wrestling guys bigger than him and it looks terrible against wrestlers taller than AJ.

It's funny, it was mostly apathy that kept me from going into my predictions and editing in that I thought the Wyatts would lose. Of course they would love, they're the Wyatts.

The only thing I watched live was the last fifteen minutes of the show, from the point they started burying Brock under everything. Including the missed opportunity to see Brock come bursting out from under the mountain, there wasn't much to impress me. So a somewhat fresh Dean nails Roman with a chair several times, turns around, and is able to be pinned after a decent spear from the hurt Roman? Okay.

Results were pretty much as expected. I'm ready for the Charlotte/Sasha/Becky? stuff to get going now. Charlotte, while athletic and all, just kinda bores me.

Don't saddle New Day with the League, please. Please god no.

I experienced long and terrible, interminable buffering during critical points of the show. It's like the WWE IT department seem constantly surprised that so many of the people subscribing to their network actually want to watch the big events live.

(I know it's outsourced to the MLB folks, but that makes the joke less funny for me - not that I'm laughing in either version)

On Twitter, it sounded like a lot of other folks had the same problems at the same time, so I don't think it was just me or the fact that I was consuming via Roku.

Did they realize just before the Edge and Christian segment that they had nothing planned for both New Day and the LoN, and went, "LOL, I dunno, stick 'em together?"

I'm bored with the Roman push, but what are you gonna do? This same company is giving us a STACKED AS HELL Takeover card the night before, so maybe let Vince have his pet project? I had super low expectations for last year's main event too, but they put on a great brawl, and the cash-in made for a fantastic ending. Sure, they don't have MiTB up their sleeve this year, but that doesn't mean there isn't a surprise in store.

Everything is awesome.

That Edge and Christian segment is the worst single segment they've aired in the last decade. I don't think I'll ever understand how "And then this wrestler comes out and Edge and Christian say, I dunno, something funny!" gets past any filter before it makes it to air.

The main event was just as dumb as the Reigns/Bryan match last year where the ending was a foregone conclusion and nothing interesting happened at all. The only interesting thing was what didn't happen when the Wyatts must have been written out of the Brock story.

Looking forward to Brock/Ambrose. At least there's one match I'd like to see. I just hope it follows the pattern of Punk/Brock more than Cena/Brock and Ambrose puts up a star making performance against him. Before, you know, he loses.

I had 2 brief buffering moments during the show, but the quality stayed pretty consistent through out. I switched over to AppleTV before the Rumble and it seems to perform much better than when I streamed through PS3, where it would jump back too frequently.

I of course predicted that Reigns would win, but really, I would've liked it to be Dean.
