Straight turn your brain off film, accept it for that and it's worth a watch. Gina Carrano does not look good with lighter hair, but she does look great.
I think i liked the last film (Fast 5) over this because of the Italian Job/Snitch element to the storytelling and there is retconning all over the film (Han's retconning was done well, Lettie's was a bit "Huh?") but Tyrese's comedy and Dwayne "The Samoan Hulk" Johnson and his wafting baby oil scent made the film for me.
Bumping this thread not just because Fast 6 will be the number one movie for Memorial Weekend 2013 but also to bring up something weird:
Now, it's possible I was seeing things (or not seeing things, as it were) at the screening I went to but for one scene, The Rock's goatee completely disappeared. His character sports a goatee the whole movie, but there is one driving scene of The Rock in close up halfway through where he's suddenly clean shaven. Then the next time the movie cuts back to The Rock, he's got the goatee again and keeps it until the end.
Was that just me seeing things? Was it the cut I saw? Or is that in the final cut of the movie people are seeing in theaters now?

I noticed that too, John. Must be a reshoot after The Rock already shaved his goatee. Thought the movie was GREAT. Poor Han.... lost his chick and gets the Tokyo Drift ending at the end. I'm so glad Justin Lin didn't make me watch the whole end credits before the Jason Strathan scene. I totally missed the Eva Mendes ending of Fast Five. Would recommend people watching Fast & Furious (part 4) before this one as I didn't remember how Letty died or the main bad guy from that one... plus I didn't remember Eli from Broadwalk Empire was in the Fast & Furious movies but the rest of the audience cracked up when he broke his nose again.
