Ok. I got off to a good start with one of my teams. I had B Colon (sp?) as one of my pitchers and picked up the win.
The only unfortunate thing is one of my other teams has Leskanic as a closer. And he's hurt... possibly to the start of May. So i went ahead and pick up a gentleman by the last name of Sparks. Looks like he had 14 wins with under a 4 era. So i guess he should fill in nicely for me.
My cnnsi lineups dont look bad. On one team i have pujols and susuki so i think my offense will look sharp.
On a side note... have any of you checked out the espn.com fantasy site? They have a free game called Diamond Daily where you pick a guy each day and earn points based on how that guy plays that day. After you use a player you cannot use him for the rest of the year. Looks interesting.
I am the JOBBER TO THE STARS. You better remember that.
I played that Diamond Daily game last year. It got really old after about two or three weeks. I know you can pick the players in advance, but it gets frustrating trying to see who has games and stuff like that.

I'm not surprised it was lopsided. Given that their numbers were so close, the fact that Votto's team made the playoffs was decisive, especially given that Pujols' team was probably more talented. Also, Pujols has won before.
