I play in this big honking league, so I am looking for something a little different.
One question - do we really need to include turnovers and personal fouls as categories? These kind of negative categories seem like they reward you for doing nothing.
I *never* do fantasy sports - they would only interfere with my enjoyment of the real thing. (Not to mention I'm unwilling to make any kind of time commitment to it.)

But it's your chance to OWN Mike Bibby.
You could co-own a team with Kim and OWN Brad Miller!!
We don't need no stinking real draft. With only 10-12 teams, there will be plenty of guys left over to just pick up who you want. Or trade! I love trading!
Sorry I have been away from The W for a week or two...
Good to see we have 8 now!! Any more we can convince?
I can't do a live draft for this, sorry. The auto draft worked pretty good last year, which is why I chose that option...
I will set the league as ready for the draft tonight at some point... Not sure when it will get done.
As for the scoring categories, again that was just duplicated from last year. I actually think the PF and TO categories add something a little different to a league. There are a lot of players in the league that you may want to have on your team because they score lots, but they also make lots of TO's which can cost ya...
Where the wild are strong, and the strong are the darkest ones, you're the Darkest One.
Why don't we wait a couple more days to draft to see if we can at least get to 10 players?
On the other point, I can live with turnovers being a category, but I can't see what personal fouls adds to the strategy. Let's compromise and keep TOs and dump PFs!
Let's also PM anybody we think might join that we kick their asses. I am sure that will work as well on some others as it did on dunk!
Granted, I haven't followed the NBA since my beloved Jazz went to the Finals in '97 and '98...and I have no idea who plays where anymore...and all these high school kids piss me off.
If I ever before had incentive to worry about whether Amare Stoudamire will return and be at a hundred percent, I sure do now! Not to mention I'll be rooting for not one but two members of the Detroit Pistons, both of whom have killed my Pacers in the playoffs a couple of times-- Tayshaun Prince and Richard Hamilton.
And then I've got former Pacer Peja Stojakovic and Indiana native Zach Randolph. But my go-to guy is without a doubt Dirk Nowitzki.

your forgetting we have northwestern & penn st. Yeah, that's true, but Penn State's 3-1 right now. Last year, they never got the first win til 12/14, the third win came on 12/28, and they only won 7 games all season. (courtesy
