Never tried a fantasy baseball team before. Never a roto league either. Sounds cool.
(edited by Reverend J Shaft on 17.2.05 0857) "Please be serious. The Patriots get more respect than virtually any team in sports history. Boston fans are now, officially more annoying than New York fans. At least N.Y. fans know when to shut up. They know they're the best when they win, they don't have to bitch and moan about how disrespected they are." - Reader Matt to Bill Simmons' on Jan. 19, 2005
I'm not sure I understand what is going on with this league, so I started another one up. It's a 20 team max, roto scoring, live draft. I know everyone says don't join if you are going to draft and leave, but please don't join/draft/leave pick a public group if that is your gig.
I joined in Loco's league, but since one league has 20 and the other currently 4; would say, two 14 team leagues work better? Maybe invite the top 2 from each league to some playoff deal, leaving a few slots open for stragglers. Would also require less research and save time on drafts.
I'm not totally sure how yahoo baseball works, just throwing something out there.
Will there be a game on that early in the day? I'm trying to get it as close to the actual start of the season and on a weekend as possible. Is it not possible to not do both at the same time? It's hard to accomodate everyone though ... if there really is an uproar over the time let me know on the Fantasy message board. There is always the possiblilty for a change if we do it early enough.
For anyone thinking about signing up the draft time is, Sun Mar 20 12:30pm.
Well, in Scioscia's defense, the Angels pen top-to-bottom had been good all year and Donelly was a stud down the stretch for them and yeah, Percival has some arm issues. As far as AL MOY - Scioscia or Gardenhire are nifty choices.
