I'll give it a shot. I don't know much about baseball, and I've never been in a baseball fantasy league before. But I'm told baseball preseason projections are more accurate than any other sport, so we'll see what happens.
I'm very tempted to join up. Been following baseball for quite a few years, but never played the fantasy version, so I'm looking for an in somewhere. I figure it'll give me more interest in games where I don't follow one of the teams (especially as my current choices are almost dead certs to finish last in their respective divisions).
Of course, if the league is already full, or you've currently got an even number of teams, then I don't have a problem skipping this year.
Well, I'm in. If you want to know what name my team is, just look at the pic at the bottom of my post to get a strong hint. I counted 16 teams now in the league, so if you want in, you might have to hurry. Good luck to all.
The Downtown Bookies have joined the league as team number seventeen. This is my initial entry into a rotisserie-style league; but, like Carard, I figure this will provide a good incentive to pay attention to all those other MLB games that don't involve my favorite team.
Ugh. There was no way for me to get online for the draft, being laptop-less and out at a bar, but maybe I should've just gone afterwards. The autodraft is always bad but it seems much, much worse in baseball.
I'm open to any and all trade offers as the autodraft left me with way too many pitchers and absolutely drizzling nothing anywhere else. So if you need pitching, I'm your man.

A lot of people in Pittsburgh would disagree with you. : ) Do they have a team? If yes then kindly shut up. I think the only city that really understands us is Seattle. Not really. They got a team back after only 7 years. Brooklyn, maybe.
