According to www.kehoe73.freeserve.co.uk/questions26.htm, WWE are allowed to use the old WWF scratch logo again! But it only effects computer games at the moment. It's also likely that old WWF videos and DVD's will be out again too. This is absolutely brill!!!

I'm pretty sure the intent of this latest legal decision is just to allow THQ and others to continue to sell "old" merchandise and games that already had the old WWF scratch logo as part of the artwork, prior to the original decision that resulted in the name change.

I'd be EXTREMELY surprised if this decision changes anything in regards to WWE being able to use the WWF logo going forward. (If it gets rid of the blur over the old logo in the video packages, that's good enough for me.

Getting rid of the blur is the only good that can come out of this. File it under the category of "Too little, too late."

I'd hardly call this a victory for WWE. It seems to have been done for the sake of the video game companies (who are stuck in the middle of a battle between two super heavyweights) and not the WWE.

The ruling basically means that Acclaim doesn't have to recall all the 5 copies of WWF Warzone that are clogging the shelves of Game stores.

I'm disappointed. I thought this was going to be about Bobby Fulton and Tommy Rogers reforming the Fantastics.

You realise Pillman didn't die in the car accident, right? He died over a year later from a heart attack, helped along by the usual wrestler drug lifestyle. It was the first of many more to come. Pillman was so ahead of his time it's unreal.
