Its a case of over his head dictatorial director and studio that has no clear vision of what they are doing with this franchise. While, I don't think 20th Century Fox will pull a Spiderman on this, I am sure they will be making inquires in either getting a Joss Whedon or Bryan Singer to do a better version. I love the FF and would love to see a Spiderman/FF team up from Amazing Spiderman 1.

I dunno, the FF brand has been so tainted now that I could see Fox maybe cutting bait on the entire thing and letting Marvel have the property back. Marvel's already booked through 2019 anyway....they can put the FF on the shelf for a few years to let the stink wear off and then have the revived Fantastic Four as major headliners for (ironically) "Phase Four."

After over 13 years and 6800 posts, was finally named W of the Day on 3/21/2015. It's now all worth it!

I agree that that's what should happen. Its already a little disappointing that we don't have Pym and Stark together as two of Marvel's big geniuses. I want Reed in that list as well. I'd just argue though that the Fantastic Four don't need their own movie. We've seen them (albiet not the MCU version.) You show two guys and a girl in jumpsuits with the Thing, and people will know who it is. I just want them for whatever happens in Infinity War, because I just want EVERYONE in Infinity War.

I fall in the "David Tennant would be a good Riddler" camp. I would also not mind if they went with the "computer whiz" version of the Riddler from BTAS and not strictly the clasic interpretation.
