A good episode to go out on. So long, FG! See you when the strike ends.

This episode had more of an epic feel than normal, which is definitely a good thing. And yet the funny was there, especially Stewie's edict that anyone who sees Peter must chuck apples at him. But you knew as soon as Cleveland met his end that it all wasn't for real. But at least it was all a simulation. Not a dream! A simulation!

Peter trying his Lethal Weapon quip was close, but Joke of the Show comes at the end when Stewie yells that at least the episode didn't end like the last episode of the Sopranos, where it just went to black in mid sente...

Oh, is Family Guy a victim of the strike? How odd. I would have thought they'd be more than a week ahead.

That is odd, I heard The Simpsons had 17 scripts in the can.

It might be a situation like the Office, where the showrunners and/or cast refuse to do any shows during the strike in a show of solidarity.

Yep. Specifically, Seth MacFarlane won't voice any of his characters -- which means they'd have to try to do the show without half the cast.

Anyway, great episode, from Superman's maid and the reverse merman ("I just punched a big hole in your logic there") to Stewie's edicts -- and yeah, I'd vote for him if he could really put an end to direct-to-DVD Disney sequels.

I need to stop watching the previews for the next episode for this show, considering the one for next week shows (spoiler text) {Let's see if I remember how to do the Spoiler tags correctly...)
